Psychological Support - Fees and Rebates
All sessions are 50-60 minutes. The fee is $215 per session. However, you may be eligible for a rebate as listed below.

Medicare Better Access to Mental Health referrals from General Practitioners (GPs) and Psychiatrists.
The current Medicare rebate for 50-minute session is $141.05. Only one rebate can be claimed per day. The gap fee. You are rebated by paying the whole fee first and then Medicare rebate is rebated into your bank account using the Medicare online claiming system (Cliniko and Medipass).
If you have a GP referral please ask your GP to send your referral via the secure platform Medical Objects to Lianne Fulcher (Provider #5094565J or via efax +61 7 3319 6436). If a referral is not received in advance of your first appointment, please make sure you bring it along on the day to be eligible for your rebate.
The availability of Bulk Bill appointments is very limited due to high costs of providing a psychology service. Requests for Bulk Billing will be considered on a case by case basis and only for clients who receive a Centrelink payment as their primary source of income.
Please note if you have Private Health Insurance and a Medicare referral you cannot use private health to pay the gap for a Medicare-subsidised appointment. You can choose whether to use your Private Health insurance or your GP referral.

NDIS referrals
Self-managed and plan-managed NDIS referrals are accepted. The NDIS hourly rate is the same as my standard hourly rate of $215 per 50-60 minute session.
Video and phone appointments are available. Please indicate this at the time of booking. For a Telehealth session, the psychologist will take your payment at the start of the session. If you have a GP referral, Medicare rebates are processed into your bank account asap after your session.
Private Health and self-funded clients.
If you have a Private Health membership, it is a good idea to contact your Provider to see if you are covered for Psychology, as each individual plan is different. The amount of subsidy also differs with each individual plan.
Workcover referrals.
Lianne Fulcher Psychology accepts Workcover referrals. Your Workcover client number and relevant details (e.g., your case Manager’s name and contact number) are required at the time of booking so that your appointments can be scheduled to meet your approved requirements.
DVA
DVA referrals are accepted. When you first book in please provide your QSM Gold or White Card number and expiry date.

Late Cancellation policy
I understand that "life" can happen. However, I do require 48 hours notice for cancellation of appointments. Appointments cancelled within 48 hours from your appointment time will incur a late cancellation fee of $100.

This policy was developed with the awareness that when appointments are booked, both the clinician and the client will make that time available for therapy.

Your clinician will spend time and resources preparing for your session, so frequent cancellations and rescheduling of appointments can have a profound impact.

A late cancelled appointment or non-attendance is a loss to three people:
The client who is delaying their therapy process
Another client who has been on the waiting list
The clinician who spent time preparing for the session

No rebates are claimable for these fees.
